At Deerfield Elementary School, we are looking forward to celebrating Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, 2022. The most meaningful part of Veterans Day for our students is connecting with our area veterans. We will be hosting a program starting at 9:00 a.m. in our school gymnasium. We have asked our students to help spread the word and invite veterans to our celebration. Please join us!

Students and staff at Deerfield Elementary have also organized a Veterans Day food drive to take place on November 7-11. All donations received at Deerfield will be given to the Journey Home in Winchester. This is not a classroom competition. This is purely a community service project. If you are able, please consider giving. Students can bring donations to school. You can also deliver donations to our school office between the hours of 8:00 and 3:30 each day of the food drive.
