We are grateful that we were able to celebrate making it to the end of this crazy year with some fun events! The 6th and 7th graders were able to go to the bowling alley and the 8th graders got to attend a movie at the theater.
Thank you to all involved in making this a successful day, and more importantly a successful school year. We will see you in August!

Today we got to celebrate our 8th graders as they prepare to move on to high school next year. #classof2025 🎓
We are proud to announce the winners of the 2020-21 Gary Harvey and Bev Jones sportsmanship awards: Colten Ruth & Brenna Barker!
These students played at least 3 sports this year and demonstrated sportsmanship throughout. Congratulations on earning this well deserved honor!

Today the 6th grade science classes got to test out their skills at landing an egg safely on the ground from the top of the football bleachers. They were able to choose from a variety of ‘safety supplies’ and some worked out better than others... Pictured are some of the success stories! #eggcellentjobeveryone 🥚

The Driver PE classes got to get outside and enjoy the awesome weather this week!

Here is the June menu for our summer lunch program:

On the final Friday of the semester, all of the 6th graders in Ms. Stephens’ classes got to put on a short skit. It was awesome to see some students who are normally shy step outside of their comfort zone and participate in this fun project!
Wonderful job to everyone in the Miss Stephens Productions of ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘The Golden Curse’. Bravo!

DMS 8th Grade Families,
We will be hosting a short 8th grade celebration on the last day of school (5/26/21) in the DMS/WCHS Auditorium. The program will start at 8:15 a.m. and will last for approximately 1 hour. We will be welcoming visitors for this program but we do request that you bring no more than 2 people for each child.
Once the program is over, students will be dismissed to their classes for the rest of their planned activities. Your student should have a permission slip for these events.

The DMS boys and girls track teams both won county championships tonight. Great job Hawks!

Today YANA club had their end of the year celebration at the park. We were excited that our shirts came in before school got out - we love our message because we always want everyone to remember that You Are Not Alone!
