DMS Families,
Next week we will start our spring ILEARN testing. Students will need to bring a fully charged Chromebook with them to school each day next week. Students also need to make sure that they are in their classrooms by 8:07 a.m. as we will begin testing right away to ensure enough time for completion of each test section. Students will also need to make sure that they bring a set of headphones with them for the listening components of English/ Language Arts testing. If your child does not have a set of headphones that will work with his/her Chromebook, please have them stop by the office.

As many of you are aware, Governor Holcomb announced Indiana's mask mandate will end April 6. I want to make everyone aware that according to Governor Holcomb’s declaration, face coverings will remain mandatory in all state buildings, all vaccination and COVID-19 testing sites, and in K-12 schools. In other words students, staff, and individuals attending school functions will still be required to wear a mask in schools after April 6. With today’s shift in Randolph County to Yellow Status it is important to do all we can to slow the spread so that our end of the school year events are as close to traditional as we can make them.
Rolland Abraham
RCSC Superintendent

Reminder: middle school track practice starts today!
Students should meet, dressed and ready, by the football bleachers and practice will run from 3-4:30pm.
