During the 2020 Christmas season when Ardagh employees of Local 14, Local 65, & Local 106T are paid to stay home with their families. Many of them volunteered to work to keep production of this essential company going during a global pandemic. The employees on the Ardagh team worked a total of 2,079 shifts which is 16,632 hours they could have been home relaxing with their families. That is more than double the number of shifts of any other Ardagh Group plant in North America. Because the Ardagh employees in this area stepped up, Ardagh was able to make a donation of $25,987.50 to buy supplies, shoes, coats, clothing, and food for students in need at Randolph Central Schools. Randolph Central Schools are on a two hour delay today , March 9, due to no electricity. Hopefully power will be restored soon.

Congratulations to Aiden Mendenhall for placing in the top 10 after the first online round of spelling for the Ball State Regional Spelling Bee. Aiden will spell in-person on Saturday March 13th at Ball State University. The bee will be broadcast on Ball State PSB at 9:30 a.m Saturday March 20 and 7 p.m Saturday March 27.

8th graders that are interested in taking PE over the summer for high school credit can pick up an application in the middle school office. The session dates are listed on the application, and an informative email was also sent out to the students by Mrs. Reed this week. Applications and payment will be accepted in the middle school office starting on Thursday, March 11, at 7:50am. Spots in the class will be first come first served.

DMS Families, I would like to remind everyone that the north parking bay closest to the building is an exit only lane. Please make sure that you enter the parking lot in the southern 2 bays. This helps with congestion during drop off and pick up times and ensures the safety of all parties involved.
